"Lampshades don’t have to be boring, they can be art!", so says Ros Freeborn, founder of Papershades.
Ros is a paper collage artist who found a way to turn her lively, colourful artwork into a beautiful product for the home. Papershades comprise five panels of printed paper which are held together by two perspex ‘wheels’. Papershades are available as a flatpack (and fit into an A4 envelope) and can be assembled at home.
The lampshades suit table lamps and room lights and enhance a room whether the lights are on or off. Ros also runs workshops to share her passion for paper and will be at Living Crafts at Cirencester and Hatfield. Just sign up for a class and join a relaxed table of students eager to discover the joy of paper collage and go home with a totally original paper lampshade.
